    Spanish Speaking Air Freight Operator

    Description

    Maurice Ward Group is a Supply Chain Management organization that was founded in 1968 in Dublin, Ireland. Currently, we operate 50 owned offices in 25 European countries

    The role of the Air Freight Operator involves processing requests and arranging export and import of freights and shipments within Europe or across the globe The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail The suitable candidate will be a highly organized team player who thrives under pressure and delivers quality service to all stakeholders Advanced knowledge of English and Spanish, proficiency in math, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software are essential.

    • Job Type:            Full Time (Mon Fri)
    • Working hours:  12:00 p.m - 20:30 p.m
    • Job Status:         Permanent 3-month probation period

    Full training will be provided on using our in-house systems.

     

     

    Job responsibilities (optional)

    • Working within a team to process RFQ and tender requests through current and third-party suppliers
    • Identifying the best routes and rates available and communicating back through to customers
    • Customer Credit checking
    • Issuing transport documents in our and carrier & apos’ systems
    • Liaising between Sales and Operations teams on potential and booked shipments to ensure a smooth handover between rates and Operations
    • Organizing air shipments
    • Estimation of costs and revenues in our system
    • Invoicing
    • Maintaining and managing current KPIs through monthly reporting procedures
    • Rate and service negotiations with service providers to ensure the best routing/rating options․

     

    Required qualifications (optional)

    • Advanced English knowledge
    • Advanced Spanish knowledge
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
