Maurice Ward LLC has been the Back Office of Maurice Ward Group since May 2018, and Maurice Anthony Ward himself is the Director of the Back Office in Yerevan. The Back Office is an integral part of the overall MW Group operations with a dynamic multi-lingual and multi-cultural team to support the ever-growing operations of MW Group across Europe and around the globe. The team in the Back Office speaks Armenian, English, German, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Romanian, Spanish, Russian, Georgian, Persian, Hindi, Chinese, and Arabic and supports MW Group by Consulting and Operation/Sales Support and PR and Marketing.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The role of the Air Freight Operator involves processing requests and arranging export and import of freights and shipments within Europe or across the globe. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. The suitable candidate will be a highly organized team player who thrives under pressure and delivers quality service to all stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of English and Spanish, proficiency in math, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software are essential.
Job Type: Full Time (Mon Fri)
Working hours: 09:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m (Spain Time)
Job Status: Permanent 3-month probation period
Job responsibilities
Working within a team to process RFQ and tender requests through current and third-party suppliers
Identifying the best routes and rates available and communicating back to customers
Customer Credit checking
Issuing transport documents in our and carrier & apos’ systems
Liaising between Sales and Operations teams on potential and booked shipments to ensure a smooth handover between rates and Operations
Organizing Air import and export of shipments
Handling Invoicing
Maintaining and managing current KPIs through monthly reporting procedures
Rate and service negotiations with service providers to ensure the best routing/rating options
Required qualifications
Excellent English language skills - oral & and written
Excellent Spanish language skills - oral & and written
Excellent and effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
Ability to quickly process information and make decisions with meticulous attention to details
A team player with a high sense of responsibility
