Frontend Developer / Angular 2+

Job description:

Develandoo (Armenian operations office) is seeking experienced and motivated Frontend developer, who wants to be a part of our bright team, have professional growth and just work in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop, test, debug standards-compliant, cross-browser compatible web applications;
• Enhance and modify existing applications as needed to add new features or improve user-experience;
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing applications;
• Interact and communicate with designers, developers, QA engineers, copywriters, product owners and others in order to understand requirements and scope of work;
• Play active role in defining and implementing best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies;
• Help the team to estimate work efforts for user stories, including determining requirements, dependencies and risks;
• Support the team in technical decisions and development estimates;
• Conduct research and develop proof of concepts;

Required qualifications:

• Experience in a front-end technology, with use of modern frameworks such as React/Redux, Angular 2+ etc;
• Experience building maintainable web application with responsive UI;
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, preprocessors(SASS, LESS);
• JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Grunt, Gulp);
• Experience in writing unit tests and e2e tests
• Experience in using NPM package manager and Yarn
• Knowledge of REST and messaging platforms;
• Experience in development of complex javascript scenarios
• Experience in hybrid app development is a big +
• Provide engineering advice for technical/architectural issues;
• A positive attitude towards working within a team and being a team player;
• Passion for working in an agile and collaborative environment and learning new technologies;
• Experience in working with GIT (Complex branching model and workflow)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Ready to travel on demand on any time
• Ready to work under stressful environment 24/7, not every day, but if it is required;
• Ready to close shifts;
• Ready to learn new business opportunities;
• Ready to lead and manage people and customers;
• Ready to learn new languages;
