The QA Analyst will provide expertise in the area of QA activities for applications developed by the Questrade Technology Group (QTG), with particular focus on the trading platform, web components and high volume data flow and transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Write test cases throughout the development lifecycle.
• Plan, schedule and perform manual and automated software tests
• Develop automated regression test suites using automated testing tools
• Work closely with Development to perform early testing on components prior to integration builds
• Manage defect tracking; monitor and report results
• Report QA status, as appropriate, to keep project stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines
Qualifications:
• BS in computer science or related field
• Knowledge of one programming language (Python, JS, Java or similar)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to investigate and research multiple sources
• Knowledge of web automation testing tools (Selenium) is a plus
• Knowledge of T-SQL is a plus
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Experience on testing of Web and Mobile based applications is a plus
• Understanding of test automation is a plus
