In coordination with the Program Officer, oversee and coordinate programmatic activities related to CIPE’s projects in Armenia, including:
development of materials and resources
monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects
regular communication with partners and consultants
management of event logistics and local travel
facilitation of training sessions where appropriate
represent CIPE in meetings with local stakeholders as appropriate
Maintain regular communication with the CIPE DC team to ensure team members are informed of changes to the local environment and program-related developments
Compile weekly narrative reports on completed project activities and progress towards objectives
Contribute to the development and implementation of cohesive strategy for CIPE in the region
Establish and maintain working relationships with peer donor organizations and proactively support Program Officer’s business development efforts
Monitor current events, including political and economic changes, and US relations in Armenia and assess the impact on ongoing and planned CIPE projects
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Officer
Adhere to appropriate CIPE, NED and USAID policies and procedures
Qualification And Skills
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in International Relations/Development or related field required; graduate degree preferred
Minimum five years professional experience in project management required
Demonstrated strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Fluency in professional written and spoken English and Armenian required
Ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to develop, establish and maintain good relationships with international partners and donors
Strong financial acumen and ability to develop, manage and monitor project budgets
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong speaking and presentation skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10% of total time)
Strong IT Skills in MS Office, specifically MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
