    Customs Operations Clerk

    Maurice Ward Group is a Supply Chain Management organization that was founded in 1968 in Dublin, Ireland. Currently, we operate 50 owned offices in 25 European countries

    ABOUT THE POSITION


    The role of the Customs Operations Clerk involves handling customs declarations for our international customs team operating on Italian and Austrian markets. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Advanced knowledge of English and Italian, proficiency in math, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software are essential.


    Job Type: Full-Time (Mon Fri) - 40 hours per week
    Working hours: The job is shift - base and will require to work during weekends and night/evening hours
    Job Status: Permanent 3-month probation period

     

    Job responsibilities

    • Customs representation of clients in the Italian and Austrian market
    • Issuance of customs forms in appropriate customs software
    • Communication with our MW offices and clients in IT and AT
    • Communication with customs authorities in IT and AT
    • Work with local customs software in IT and AT
    • Responsibility for the proper documentation filing

     

    Required qualifications

    • Advanced English knowledge
    • Knowledge of Italian is a plus
    • Experience with customs brokerage/declarations is an advantage
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Highly organized and attentive to details
    • Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
    • Positive attitude to the job, drive to learn something different/new
    • Flexibility and reliability
