    Accounting and Operations Assistant

    Job Description:

    Are you comfortable with numbers and digits? Do you consider yourself a well-organized person with a fine eye for detail? If so, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for a resourceful and proactive person, with a passion for learning and growing professionally in the admin and freight operations spheres to join our team in Back Office, Yerevan in the capacity of Accounting and Operations Assistant.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English, meticulous attention to detail. The suitable candidate will be a highly organized team player who thrives under pressure and delivers quality service to all stakeholders.

    • Job Type: Full-Time (Mon Fri)
    • Working hours: 10:00 a.m -17:00 (with a one-hour lunch break) NL time
    • Job Status: Permanent 3-month probation period

     

    Job responsibilities

    • Assist in processing incoming AP invoices from suppliers
    • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process
    • Follow up on quotations as per standardized procedures and set instructions
    • Ensure timely management of administrative tasks
    • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients upon request
    • Working within a team to process RFQ and tender requests through current and third-party suppliers
    • Identifying best routes and rates available and communicating back through to customers
    • Organizing air freight shipments
    • Rate and service negotiations with service providers to ensure the best routing/rating options

     

    Required qualifications

    • Excellent in English
    • Great attention to details
    • Good knowledge of MS Office (EXCEL)
