The Back Office is an integral part of the overall MW Group operations with a dynamic multi-lingual and multi-cultural team to support the ever-growing operations of MW Group across Europe and around the globe. The team in the Back Office speaks Armenian, English, German, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Romanian, Spanish, Russian, Georgian, Persian, Hindi, Chinese, and Arabic and supports MW Group by Consulting and Operation/Sales Support and PR and Marketing.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a hard-working and responsible person to join our team in the position of
Sales Assistant for MW Czech office.
The role of the Sales Assistant involves processing requests for rates and operations between
overseas networks of agents and Maurice Ward sales team from A to Z. It includes quoting prices for
freights and shipments within Europe or across the globe. The ideal candidate will have excellent
customer service and communication skills with meticulous attention to details.
Advanced knowledge of English and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software are essential.
Full training will be provided on using our in-house systems.
• Job Type: Full-Time (Mon Fri)
• Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (with one-hour lunch break) Czech time
• Job Status: Permanent 3-month probation period
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Rate and service negotiations with service providers to ensure the best routing/rating
options
• Identifying the best routes and rates available and communicating back to our customers.
• Processing RFQ and tender requests through current and third-party suppliers.
• Liaising with Sales on potential and booked shipments to ensure a smooth handover of
rates and operations.
• Maintaining and managing KPIs through monthly reporting procedures․
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent English language skills - oral & and written
• Knowledge of Czech language is an advantage
• Excellent and effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
• Ability to quickly process information and make decisions with meticulous attention to
details
• A team player with a high sense of responsibility
