About the Role
Miro is looking for a dynamic People Operations Team Lead in Yerevan. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a top-notch People Operations Team in Yerevan, dedicated to providing the industry's best service delivery with a focus on care, empathy, and efficiency. Miro’s People Operations Team in Yerevan is essential and serves as the frontline People support globally.
Your responsibilities will extend to hands-on involvement in addressing service delivery challenges and continuously refining our operations. A significant part of your role involves managing through coaching and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance overall service delivery.
As a key member of the Global People Operations team and reporting directly to the Head of People Operations, your ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various levels of leadership will be essential.
What you’ll do
Lead the People Operations Team in Yerevan. Foster a culture of care, empathy, and high-performance, ensuring our team consistently delivers exceptional service to our fellow Mironeers
Ensure all People Operations activities comply with legal and ethical standards in Armenia. Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in People Operations and incorporate them into our strategies
Provide in-country support for the Yerevan hub this includes:
Being a point of contact with people leaders and employees on the ground in Yerevan -- People Ops does not advise -- we listen and escalate
Share insights and suggestions to PBPs if there are themes within organizations and teams
Work with Talent Team on projects to increase engagement for the Yerevan hub
Serve as a liaison to the Employee Relations Team on any onsite investigations and terminations
Support the development of efficient processes and programs
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different functions
Take a proactive approach to identifying and addressing service delivery gaps. Implement innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance the quality of services provided to our internal customers.
Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making processes. Monitor key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement
What you’ll need
Comprehensive understanding of the labor laws and regulations in Armenia
6+ years of experience in People Operations or People Service Delivery
4+ years leading and managing a team
Fluency in both Armenian and English are required includes exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to work evenings 2-3x a week
Previous experience working for a global company is highly desirable
Experience in Workday and ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow) is preferred
Capable of balancing strategic planning with efficient execution
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and thrive in a dynamic environment
Sensitivity to and understanding of cultural differences and the ability to navigate these in a business context
